It was a night to remember at the Love of Jesus Church in Orange, New Jersey, when Agboola Shadare opened for respected R&B Gospel singer, Helen Baylor, at a special night of music, hosted by Pastors Jason and Gale Alvarez. Worship could hardly end with popular radio veteran on Christian station Star 99.1FM, George Flores, directing the course.
Gerge Flores, who had been in the business for decades, started the night with a reminiscent gift to Helen Baylor. A guitar player himself, Flores said he could hardlby believe his ears when Agboola started playing. Even after doing four songs, the congregation continued to yell for more.
Agboola did a special for Helen Baylor from one of her old albums, which caught the revered artiste by surprise. She was obviously delighted by what she heard, saying: "Ola was playing with my nerves with those songs."
When it was her turn, the people were not disappointed. Helen crowned the night with three renditions of "Awesome God."
God was glorified. Oh, what a night!
